health: Sohvi has had several epileptic type seizures after summer
2005, usually caused by stress. Sohvi has got no medication so far, we have
tried traquilaisers (Clomicalm) with no results.
Sohvi had promising start, but sadly she
didn't became show- or breeding quality, so she is now our
couch champion :) Sohvi is registered as miniature but she
is actually small kaninchen. Sohvi is very energetic and
lovable little dog, but with new people she is usually very
timid at first. We train bloodtracking and agilty with
Sohvi.

Sohvi's epileptic seizures
I have wrote down all her seizures and symtoms so that maybe
they can help others with same problems.

24.5.05
|
First seizure. First shaking and
trembling, then collapsed to the grass. Sohvi vomited and wet
herself. Seizure lasted about 5 minutes.

Same day I took Sohvi to the vet, she
was thoroughly examined and diagnosis was probaply idiopatic
epilepsy.

20.6.05
|
Sohvi collapsed and wanted out, she
ate lot of grass and vomited.

Sohvi was trembling and shaking,
vomited and was out of this world.

|
Sohvi saw big dog and started barking
- soon she started to lose balance and was disoriented. She was
shaking for very long time.

We were walking when Sohvi suddenly
stopped. She sat down and her head was bending towards her tail, it
was the shape of letter U. After seizure Sohvi attacked Snow-Ball
for no reason.

Again when walking Sohvi got disoriented, sat down and her head
started to bend. She was shaking and trembling and finally collapsed
to the ground. She also vomited after seizure.

Walking again - Sohvi sat down, started shaking, eyes were almost
closed. She was trembling, then collapsed. Her neck was bending
again towards her tail. Seizure lasted for couple of minutes.
